Medtronic has joined forces with Methinks AI to enhance stroke treatment across Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Türkiye, and the Middle East.

This partnership, announced on March 31st, integrates Methinks AI’s advanced stroke detection software into Medtronic’s Neurovascular business, improving patient triage and care coordination.

Methinks AI’s technology, validated in leading hospitals across Europe and the U.S., detects over 80% of large vessel occlusions using only non-contrast CT imaging, enabling faster stroke assessment even in resource-limited settings. By integrating this AI-powered solution with Medtronic’s stent retrievers and aspiration systems, the partnership aims to improve patient triage and care coordination, ultimately reducing delays and optimizing stroke treatment outcomes.

Methinks AI participated in the 2021 conference in Milan, where its CEO, Pau Rodriguez, showcased their company during the Start-up Discovery Session focused on AI-enabled technology for diagnostics, drug discovery, and clinical trials.
