Digital Therapeutics Alliance Acquired by ATA Action to Accelerate Digital Health Advocacy
The Digital Therapeutics Alliance (DTA), a key player in expanding access to digital therapeutics, has been acquired by ATA Action, the advocacy arm of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA).
This acquisition, announced on March 31st, marks a significant step forward in the integration of digital health technologies into healthcare systems. By merging ATA Action’s telehealth policy expertise with DTA’s leadership in digital therapeutics, the new organization is positioned to shape policy at federal and state levels.
With a shared goal of making digital health solutions essential to healthcare, they will advocate for wider adoption of digital therapeutics, diagnostics, and remote monitoring. As part of this effort, ATA Action will launch the Advancing Digital Health Coalition, focusing on reimbursement, regulatory expansion, and innovation.
The collaboration between DTA and Frontiers Health has long been a driving force in shaping the digital health landscape. From DTA’s European debut at Frontiers Health 2017 to co-creating the Digital Medicine & DTx Global Policy Summit, this partnership has played a pivotal role in advancing the global conversation on policy harmonization and the integration of scientifically validated digital therapeutics into clinical care.
This acquisition further accelerates the momentum toward a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable digital health ecosystem.
