Brent Stackhouse is the Managing Director of Mount Sinai Ventures, the venture investment arm of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. His responsibilities include diversifying the portfolio of strategic investments to enhance Mount Sinai’s transition to population health management. He also serves as a Senior Partner at Spex Capital, a UK based early stage health tech venture fund. He is experienced in public health and health information technology, and represents Mount Sinai on the board of several portfolio companies. Additionally, he launched the Strategic Ventures Group, a national consortium of corporate venture investors from nearly 40 hospitals. Outside of Mount Sinai, Brent is he on the board of the Italian charity Insegnare per l’Italia (Teach for Italy) and is a member of the Georgetown Angel Investor Network.
